The front desk staff was wonderful. We only had an issue with a waitress in the hotel’s restaurant but Dean at the front desk stepped in and helped out. He was wonderful.

The location was great! However, particularly during this time of a pandemic, the lack of cleanliness was inexcusable. When I reported to the front desk that our floor was filthy, they offered me no resolution (I told them that giving me a broom would not help). If I hadn't been there for a special event, I would have left. I used Lysol spray and a wet towel to mop the entire floor and took pictures of the disgusting rinse water. Then, to add insult to injury, when I received my credit card statement I discovered that they charged me for an extra night. I am still working with my credit card company to resolve the issue.

The lobby is clean, updated, and smells terrific. Unfortunately, that did not carry through to the guest rooms. We booked a partial ocean view room with a balcony. After walking down the long, dark, and dank hallway, we opened the door to our room and were hit with the unmistakable smell of mold and mildew. The room was dark, the door to the balcony was heavy steel and did not feel beach at all. The balcony was small and unwelcoming. Airing out the room did not help the mold smell. The ceiling above the window was rotting and showed water damage. I called the front desk to have them move us to a different room. They said they would send the house manager up to verify the complaint and that we should wait there. I went to the restroom and noticed that the shower had long hair on the walls and in the tub. After waiting twenty minutes (in the hallway because we both got migraines and couldn’t stay in the room), we decided to find another hotel. I went to the front desk and asked for a full refund. They did not try to argue, so that was a plus. We were able to get a clean, updated room in a hotel down the street, and saved about $150 over 2 nights.

Wouldn’t recommend. The view was amazing for the oceanfront room but everything was terrible. Mediocre pool, tiki bar area closed. First night had to request different bedding as large red stain visible (blood?) absolutely disgusting. Second night upon opening dresser the drawer broke off - seeing where had been glued on prior. Walls had stains, ceiling had marks with dead flies in which where killed prior. Recent stay from 7/26-7/28. Would consider an upscale motel at best, not a resort. Wish I could say better, don’t let the photos fool you.
