Nice to be further away from the main down town noise. Awesome free Hot breakfast as which provided by store next door. Beach a short walk behind the building. Unfortunately we found BM on Smashed onto the seat of a chair in our room as I was pre cleaning due to covid as a precaution. Staff removed the chair immediately and apologized, said there was not suppose to be a chair in the room at all. Everything else was neat and clean just dated, being a older pinewood motel

Rooms are clean and well kept. Could use some repair and updating. Especially the mattress and bedding. Mattress is worn and indented, bedding is old and itchy. Regardless, this is an excellent value. Rustic cabin decor, access to a beach area with fire pit a short walk away. Staff is very nice, no hassle. Wifi does not work. Breakfast is a breakfast sandwich and cup of coffe at their store next door. Overall a great value and enjoyable stay. Thank you!

Our room had the "up north" feel, the neighbors were very friendly and it was only a short walk from the motel to get to beach.

If you are looking for a clean inexpensive no-frills stay this is the place. What it lack in amenities it makes up for in charm! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! What they get right: Comfy beds! Clean! Very clean! Lots of hot water with good pressure! Trolley stop at convenience store next door What they could improve upon: Bathroom needs to be bigger, not XXL friendly Parking not designed for bigger vehicles LED Light bulbs Add additional outdoor swings What they get wrong: TV needs to be upgraded and mounted on wall with working remote WiFi practically non existent No bedside stand No clock whatsoever The physical plant is dated but charming in a retro sort of way. The AC worked like a champ! If I'm looking for an a simple overnight we'll be back to stay with them.

It is a small older building it was very clean & peaceful. The lady at the desk was very nice. It was my dogs first vacation & their was a nice quiet area to walk her outside. Looks like a log cabin had a nice up north feel
