My Tv did not work the whole time i was there. I was told more than once I'd get a second night free, and the next morning she had the laws pull up

We were put in a wing of the hotel that was undergoing renovations. But the first room we went into had no fridge or microwave and half the lights didn’t work. The second was not made up from previous guests and the third had most of the lights unplugged so we had to go around plugging them in. The sheets were obviously very old and had marks and patches. We weren’t sure they hadn’t been slept in! The gym was not operational The breakfast was poorly serviced so when replacement food was needed it wasn’t supplied and we plus others missed out on a number of the options such as the mini muffins and pastries.

The shower curtain would not stay closed so water splattered on the floor. The wash cloth was as soft as sandpaper, and it and towels were very thin. A tub mat was not provided to prevent slipping. All of these items are easy to fix.

I am very sorry to hear that the check-in process and check-out process was slow. If you are back in the area and stay with us again we recommend using a credit card which makes the process a lot quicker but unfortunately with cash it does take a little longer. That is a big reason why many of the hotels in the area no longer accept cash. I am terribly sorry about that issue and do hope you will give us another chance to serve you in the future.

Our room had a horrible smoke smell, the toilet barely flushed, the shower didnt drain and the swimming pool had a very slimey feeling

As one of the new managers of this hotel, i'm very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. It seems that you may have been given a smoking room, when in fact you did not want one, but we'll look into it and see what happened there. Though we are an older hotel, what we have been working on so hard it to be able to bring our guest the overall best value in the whole area. So you may only pay a fraction of the cost, compared to our nearby competitors, you wont sacrifice on any of the amenities that most travelers are accustomed to... like free wifi, 5 star rated pillow top mattresses, premium cable, swimming pool, free breakfast, workout room, friendliest staff, and very clean rooms, just to name a few. We apologize for the imperfections, but it may be worth noting that we are proceeding with plans to bring forth some large renovations in the very near future, which will bring even more value for our guests than ever before.
