    It's a rare find!

We have been coming to St. Louis 4 times in the past two years and used these type of housing all 4 times. St. Louis is a great place to visit with family as the zoo and the science center, and the art museum are all free and are so conveniently located in the Forest Park area. There are so many interesting dining options and other things to do in the area. This home is located so close to Delmar Loop and all of these and to major highways within 10-15 minutes of driving. The location was just so amazing. As for the home itself, the structure and neighborhood might seem old, but the inside was well updated, clean, and functional. We are a family of 4 and another family of 4 stayed together and it was perfect. We had enough room to stay comfortably. All the kitchen appliances are well updated and the utensils, plates, and bowls are well stocked. There is only one full bath upstairs with all the bedrooms and a half bathroom on the first floor. The other half bathroom was down in the unfinished basement in which washer and dryer are located. It was an unfinished basement and that half bathroom was mostly for emergency use, but the bathroom itself was well finished. The only three things you should consider in the future are 1. Two rooms upstairs didn't have ceiling fans and even when the AC was going full load, it was still hot. In the first week of August when we were staying, it was going over 90 degrees every day and the AC wasn't strong enough to cool it down, so we had to rotate to sleep downstairs on the futon. 2. The garage entrance was very difficult to find. We're from the Chicago area, so finding back alley isn't too foreign and yet the Google map wasn't showing it correctly and it wasn't just convenient. But we had plenty of street parking spaces right in front of the house. 3. Having one full bath - this is not a complaint. We were fully aware of that and the location and the price compensated it, but if you visit during summer with lots of people, this might be a sticking point. All in all, it was a very positive experience and recommend it to people who consider it in the future. We ended up staying one more day as we couldn't fit everything we wanted to do and the stay was very enjoyable.
