This spacious apartment is well decorated with everything you'll need for a wonderful St. Louis vacation. The unique theme is based on St. Louis style of decoration, a lot of which we collected ourselves through the years living in the City! Along with the amazing environment, it's just a short walk to Forest Park and everything that it offers. Or it's a quick bus ride or drive to downtown, the Loop, and Washington University. It'd be my pleasure to have you as a guest in my apartment!

DO NOT stay here!!! This property is not as advertised. The neighborhood is unsafe, the AC window units were covered in black mold, the stove didn't work, the bedspreads were stained, the sheets looked like they hadn't been changed, the ceiling fans were covered in dust, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned and someone left behind their shampoo and body wash, the dishwasher was full of food and had a really bad odor, the coffee maker was full of coffee grounds and hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the doors and windows didn't lock completely. My husband myself and our 2 daughters could not stay there especially with my asthma. We had to find a hotel for the duration of our stay and when we notified the host, they never got back to us. VRBO advertises this property but when I asked for a refund they gave me the run around and said it was up to the host's discretion and I haven't heard anything since. Save yourself the money and the trouble and just get a hotel instead.

Great Location
We took a weekend to go to the zoo and a few other things. We wanted to stay in a neighborhood rather tan a hotel outside the city. Location was great, VERY close to zoo, walking distance to good restaurants and drinks. The apartment has a parking garage. It is very tight, but was much better than keeping your car on the street. The building is older, so water pressure is low, window air conditioners work well to keep the apartment cool. Very nice neighborhood with people walking their dogs and being outside, and quiet neighbors in the building, rarely heard anyone. Two small downfalls were the internet and the bed size. The internet was extremely slow and hard to log in. The beds were quoted as queen size, but I thing they were full size in a queen frame as they felt small and there was space on either side of the box spring to the side of the bed frame. I probably wouldn't stay here again, ONLY because I would like to try other St. Louis neighborhoods. It's a decent place for a weekend get away especially for the price.

Location was perfect for work and play, EXTREMEMLY safe. Owners were very easy to communicate with. The house was perfect and clean and super cozy. The pictures are underated, house is very bright and more spacious than I expected.

cozy and cute!
Overall, a great stay! It's a small apartment, perfect for the 2 of us and it had all the necessities. Air conditioners worked perfectly, the neighborhood was not noisey (or the neighbors above us). It's an old building, for us, this added to it's charm. The only thing was that the wifi never worked, but it wasn't a business trip and our phones worked fine for looking stuff up. Also, the toaster didn't work, but toasted in pan and we only had breakfast there. Figuring out the parking (exiting the garage was somewhat funny), but the managers answered my text immediately, so it was not a problem at all. Love the Dogtown neighborhood and it's proximity to everything St Louis!

Fun little place!
This was an adorable apartment in a great location. We were in town for a wedding in Forest Park and we were close to everything involved. The parking garage was super convenient. And communication with the host was perfect. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Amazing neighborhood!
My friends and I had a good time at this location. It’s just as the title and listing say. My only complaint is a small one: the headboard was not attached to the bed frame so I had to move it to keep it from getting loud and wobbly when I moved. It is an extra charge per additional guest which I did not realize. A small fee. Other than that I really loved the property. It’s beautiful and charming. The neighborhood is nice and close to a lot of attractions. I definitely look forward to staying here again in the future.
