    The staff (all of them) were as friendly and helpful as any staff I’ve ever encountered at any hotel-and we travel frequently-often at higher rated hotels. It is apparent from the condition of the hotel that it’s a little older, but it is clean and well kept. Location is nearby several downtown attractions. Price is very affordable. Will definitely be staying again if we ever travel back to St. Louis.

    I've stayed here twice.

    I've stayed at this hotel twice. Both times while visiting St. Louis for a concert. It's a comfortable hotel with a friendly staff. The food at the bar downstairs is also pretty good. The location is pretty convenient. My two complaints are, the carpet near the pool was saturated with water and parking is confusing. There are three pay lots near the hotel and it's unclear which one belongs to the hotel. It doesn't really matter as they all cost about the same to park overnight.

    I was charged by the hotel for a two night stay. This check in issue has been occurring more frequently. There is no reason why front desk staff cannot check in guests correctly to avoid additional charges and the time and hassle of seeking a refund. I use Expedia for convenience but the convenience is being taken away by this continued check-in issue.
