Perfectly adequate, relatively cheap.
The Missouri Athletic Club is adequate in all respects. While the main lobby looks fancy and inviting, the decor is dated. Indeed, dated is a theme that carries throughout the hotel. My room was sizable, but the space was poorly used. My bed was comfortable enough, but the headboard had clearly seen better days, and creaked which just about every movement I made in bed. The bathroom was adequate, but the medicine cabinet looked like something from the 1980s, and had rust inside. I booked this place because it was close to the convention center, yet was cheaper than many hotels in the area. I would book again, if I ever needed to attend another conference in St. Louis, but would seriously consider other options first.

Wont be back
Nothing special about this place with a seemingly grumpy ole lady working the front desk. Very old switches and controls in rooms with mo ammenities like fridge or microwave in room. Parking is $18 in hotels garage. I cut my foot in the tiny shower on an old screw sticking up from drain too. Also place has signs about dress code such as no hats or muscle shirts, mist be collared polos etc

It's a beautiful, historic building that is centrally located. The rooms are fairly large, but could stand to be updated. We had some issues (heater, TV), but they were quickly addressed.
