In the city center and near a metro station, Red Lion Hotel St. Louis is in an area with good airport proximity. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Missouri Botanical Gardens and Arboretum and Forest Park, while City Museum and Fox Theater are cultural highlights. Looking to enjoy an event or a game? See what's going on at Enterprise Center or Busch Stadium. Our guests appreciate the hotel's location for the sightseeing and nightlife. It's also convenient to public transportation: Stadium Station is 9 minutes by foot and 8th and Pine Station is 15 minutes.
The hotel was dirty. The fold out couch for kids to sleep on was broken. We waited hours for pillows. The service in general was not good. Only stayed there for convenience but will never make that mistake again.
This hotel is not suitable for guests. DO NOT stay at this hotel. We were placed in 2 different rooms both rooms had urine and blood soaked mattresses, tagging in the rooms, filthy couches and chairs and the carpet was not safe to walk on barefooted. We woke up physically ill and disgusted and checked out early. I have photos and will be submitting them to Travelocity for a refund, but more importantly, Travelocity should not be engaging in a relationship with this hotel!
It was a great historical place to stay. Wouldn't mind going back.
After arriving, you’ll quickly learn that they have no parking; and the only way to park anywhere close to the hotel is to pay for a parking spot for an additional $25. You will then take the one working elevator, out of like 5. The pictures are misleading about the quality of the hotel, it is obviously old and very worn in the carpets and stained sheets. The only positive note I have is the niceness of the front desk, and accommodation they made for my dog. Also there is no good place to take your animal to go to the bathroom, just a small patch of grass next to the main road.
I actually need to see if I can file a complaint to try to get our money back? We tried to check in at 3pm and then 4pm and then 5pm and then 5:30 but they were still telling us they had no idea when our room would be ready. We had to go to the game so we decided to go get a room at the union station hilton? Are we able to get our money back at all? I was going to try to call your office or maybe contact our credit card.
