Beautiful beach! Nice property. Don't expect A quiet, secluded vacation. You are in the mix. But it winds down about 10:00. Room was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and immediately switched rooms when our first one had not been cleaned prior to check in. The bar is fun with live music. The breakfast/lunch cafe has a great selection. Pool is kept warm. The floors are wood vinyl which I prefer over carpet in rooms. Convenient location and right on the beach. Plenty of dinner options. Rooms had plenty of space. Cons: This is an older motel that has had makeup only renovation. The halls are dark and damp. Doors don’t shut completely to keep sound out. Furniture in the rooms is cheaper quality and creaked every time I rolled over in bed or opened the door to the mini fridge. Bathroom shower is 6ft tall, so really small for an above average height guest. Small bathroom.

Kind of disappointing for the price
There was old food left in our fridge when we arrived. We we a bit disappointed that there was not a bathtub. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable, leaving my husband and I with aching hips upon waking up. There was an event, at the hotel one night and the lower parking was sandbagged due to a storm, so there was NO parking for us...causing us to circle for about 45-50 mins before someone left, finally opening up a spot in the far end of the upper lot. Wishing there was complimentary bfast or at least coffee, for the price we paid. $50 resort fee was a bit annoying as well, and shouldn't be charged when weather is bad and people obviously cannot enjoy the beach amenities or the pool, as was the case during our entire stay. Also, occupancy charges when only providing every other day housekeeping seems a bit much. Location was great, and cool looking. But.... probably won't stay there again.
