NOT HAPPY with Owner or VRBO
VRBO and owner double booked us. I messaged owner that morning with no response. At check-in time there was already a family staying at the property. We spend 3 hours on the phone with VRBO (kept getting disconnected) with 6 kids sitting in a car with no place to go for the evening. Our credit card funds had already been pulled out and had to go through the 3-15 day refund process. Grrrrrrrr. Ridiculous. No apologies from owner, who did eventually cancel reservations on their end and process refund. VRBO did eventually find us a hotel for the next 2 nights but never offered a food credit or to help us find other accommodations to finish our vacation. Super disruptive to our families vacation. We were lucky enough to have the money to cover all of this. What if someone didn’t? What would they have done?
