*Roads to the cabin are STEEP gravel roads and can be tough to navigate in winter without the proper vehicle. 4-WHEEL/ALL-WHEEL DRIVE IS REQUIRED BETWEEN OCTOBER - MARCH AND DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER.

*Cell service is limited coming up the mountain. Follow your GPS map (maps will still work in offline mode even if you lose cell service on the way up).

*There is one camera on the exterior of the cabin for security and safety of our guests.

Wow!
My wife and I reserved this location for a Thanksgiving staycation/anniversary and it did not disappoint. Drive and scenery in the Luray, Stanley, and cabin location are incredible and breathtaking to say the least. Accommodations were as advertised and cozy/comfortable; family loved it. Thank you so much for everything!

Lovely stay!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It’s clean and comfortable. The location feels secluded but still is a quick drive to Luray. Note that some hikes are accessible close to the cabin, but the entrance to Shenandoah is about 40 min away.

Solitude and Peace at its best!
We had a lovely time at this rustic cabin way up the mountain. It was peaceful and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and caring. We loved using the fire pit and were provided with an ample supply of dry firewood. These are not luxury accommodations but suited us just fine.

This is a very nice property, shower is a little small and could use a shower head that is detachable. Other then that the place was clean and everything covered for your stay.

Mountain Getaway
What a wonderful property! We had a fantastic time hiking Shenandoah National Park and surrounding areas; the house became our home in such a short time. Clean, comfortable and so close to sooo many things to do! I highly recommend this beautiful mountain getaway!

Great getaway and relaxing.
Very clean, nice decor, good supplies provided such as paper towels, shampoo, etc. Loved the washer/dryer; being to do a load mid-week. We loved relaxing by the indoor wood stove.

Exactly What We Were Looking For
My wife and I decided to take our Kids to visit Luray Caverns. We got tired of staying in Hotels. We decided to have a proper family time, remote location peace and quiet. No Internet and no Electronics, We enjoy the fire, puzzles, cards games and movies. We definitely recommend this place.

Well need break
Lovely cottage exactly as listed. It felt isolated and yet was only about 25 minutes from Luray. Great deck and TONS of good firewood on site. We made a lovely fire every night. It's also super close to a trailhead to access the AT. We did a movie night and my son got to watch Goonies for the first time! The roads to get to the house are definitely steep and could be a problem if the weather was bad, but we had no issues. Thanks for opening your home to me and my family! Exactly what we needed.
