"Lovely staff, great breakfast though they cooked wrong order they were so apologetic we almost felt bad. Checkin staff were great. The hotel is in ancient buildings so don't expect noise insulation, double glazing etc. The room was clean, large and comfortable. Bathroom was bit cramped but clean and good water pressure. Our room was one first floor over hotel entrance. Might have been noisy earlier but we were out till midnight and had no issues. Lovely location in olde worlde town centre. Parking was free and fine, glad we had sat nav to find it, it's down a windy access road. There were about 5 spaces left at 630pm so maybe you would struggle if arriving later. Overall good experience, would stay again but it is a basic not luxury experience."
