Very well-designed with good landscaping. Accommodation is far superior the most in the Bahamas. Good swimming beach. The food is spectacular. The reverse osmosis water his safe and fine to drink. Power is solar electric. Wi-Fi is fast and easy to operate. Because of the Wi-Fi, there is no need to pay for international phone calls if one uses WhatsApp on the internet. Although the bungalows are virtually bug-proof, you will need bug spray for the evening walk to and from the dining room. The gym is well equipped.

I love the property. Service was extremely slow due too lack of staff at the restaurant and beach bar. Very disappointing to have to wait in lines for 45-1hour for food or beverage.

Pros: Beautiful property on Stocking Island; Beautiful beach. When available, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Desmond, in particular, was a life-saver. The villas are well designed with all having screened in porches to keep out mosquitos. Cons: Stocking Island is isolated. There are no roads or paths to anything from Lumina Point. Stop in George Town for groceries. Read below: No services available before 8 am. The phone system was down which did not matter as there are NO STAFF on the property before 8 am. We were fortunate enough to obtain the number of the supervisor who was able to assist with travel arrangements. Limited services available from 4-10 pm. By limited, I mean you can go the restaurant after 6 pm. After 4 pm, the property seems abandoned. The concierge is essentially a non existent position. She did greet us with customary complimentary drinks at the dock, but that was the extent of her helpfulness. We tried to go through her to arrange numerous activities (boat rental, fishing trip, spa), but she never followed up with us. Thankfully, we were able to make this arrangements ourselves. As the phone lines were down, we were given vhf radios to contact concierge from 8am to 4pm-after 4pm we were advised to "just go find somebody". Just for fun, I tried to contact someone on the vhf radio everyday several times a day, but I never received a response.

Serious mosquito problem, really bad food, and an indifferent just short of rude concierge that neglected to tell us some critical things as well as giving us wrong and/or missing information really made for a bad stay. We are foodies and chose the property in part due to restaurant reputation. Apparently it was sold and now the food is worse than standard resort food. They do not even have fresh fruit for drinks. And crazy expensive for what it is. (I consider $100 for 2 fairly inexpensive , so u know my perspective) Property manager ultimately got involved and comped us on all kinds of things to try to make us less unhappy but he can only do so much. Home now and I have counted over 50 mosquito bites all from the resort, especially the restaurant. They blamed the rain. Like it never rains in the Bahamas and this was unexpected . We were all over multiple islands and tours and had no issues anywhere else. On a positive note, the masseuse was very good as was the band at the restaurant one night.
