The property boasts newly renovated rooms and pictures of a pool. Our rooms were old, one smelled horribly of chlorine from the indoor pool which was unusable (lining was duck taped on) and the outdoor pool was also unusable although this was not mentioned anywhere. It looks like they are updating some of the property but I was very unhappy with our rooms and that we weren't informed the pool wasn't available. We had to pay $ to go to the pool across the street. Overall pretty disappointed with our stay here.

We did not stay. I went down the road and booked a different room at a different hotel. The bed was disgusting with a very old mattress, there was a hole in the bathroom floor in front of the sagging tub. You wouldn't be able to shower or bath as you would possibly fall through the floor, and the room smelled moldy and musty. The outdoor pool was green and not clean or usable. There was no bar as advertised. Everything was empty and run down. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would drive home before staying in this place.

The worst hotel to stay at. Please rear all of the reviews and make note of all of the bad surveys as they are all correct. We arrived at 6:30 which is not a late check in and the key was left in a envelope on the front door and the lobby closed. There was no free breakfast as advertised, the indoor pool was not available as under construction but looks like its not been in use for quite some time. The room had 3/4 of a roll of toilet paper without a backup roll if needed as 3 of us were scheduled to stay for 2 nights. The note on the front door stated that someone would be there the following morning at 8am but no one showed up the whole time we were in town. We left the hotel and stayed elsewhere after the first night. Absolutely the worst experience that we have ever had at a hotel.

Not a resort and very average rooms, dirty carpets

Pros: Beds were comfortable. Location is nice. The place has potential but obviously the 6 owners need to do major renovations. Main lobby is nice.
Cons: Replace all filthy carpeting. Furniture is very tacky. Indoor pool area needs floors "all" replaced.
Location: The location is prime and so close to Main Street in Stowe. It's a shame it is so neglected.
Travelocity advertised a full breakfast, we had a Yoplait with granola and a coffee. So disappointing that we asked for a credit. The carpets were filthy. It is in no way a resort. It has a mediocre indoor and outdoor pool, a malfunctioning Jacuzzi, and a non functioning steam room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom quite nice. Although - have you ever seen a bathroom with no vent? Hair dryer was barely working. The extremely small mini fridge had broken parts and froze a milk we put inside. The staff of two was helpful but woefully over matched with how much was wrong with the place.

Great location, nice little nook on the notch...

Location: Farmers market in fall, maybe spring, and summer, too, I went in the early fall. Pumpkin chuckin, corn maze, dinner, lunch. Hiking, music
Had a nice little creek that kept our 9 yr old daughter entertained for hours, swimming pools inside and out, great location. Breakfast was cold style, but all I was really looking for, bed was too hard for my husband, but my daughter and I slept just fine.

Nice room

Cons: Hotel staff was not available in the morning before 8:30. Left the keys in the room. The morning breakfast did not meet our approval. Noone was around
Location: Lots of places to eat and enjoy life.
On our way passing through from New Brunswick Canada to Michigan.

Nice, Quiet, Scenic Location

Pros: It was a quiet , scenic location, centrally located to areas of interest, and restaurants.
We loved the location of the hotel. The pools were beautiful, and very clean. This was a great place to stay, we would highly recommend it to anyone.
