Avoid at all costs. Starting with check-in we’re the receptionist could barely be bothered to utter a word - his phone must have been more interesting. Only interested in us paying the local tax. Didn’t explain which floor we were on or anything.
The room was poor (apart from the air con, which was good). An open electrical connection box in the room (luckily no children in our party, otherwise could have been very dangerous). Water boiler directly above the toilet. As long as you didn’t stand up when you left the loo, you were ok. 1 working light - 2 other lights, though both missing bulbs. 1 working plug socket. No coat hangers at all. Why have a wardrobe if you can’t hang clothes up ? Request for fresh towels (via email, message and asking Expedia) was ignored. Had to use the same towels through the stay. Felt unsafe as followed in a couple of times very closely and it appeared people were trying to gain access to see which room you were in. Hotel Quite obviously not interested. Complained to Expedia who were just as bad and kept us on hold an hour saying they were trying to get an answer from the hotel about a refund (which was refused). We didn’t want a refund, just fresh towels, light bulbs and coat hangers. Seriously avoid like the plague. The ‘welcome’ should have been a warning sign about this ‘hotel’.
