Great hotel in a great location, with perfect service. Minor areas for improvement would be breakfast. It felt like it was served on a budget with half a black pudding, a tiny hash brown and a continental breakfast that looked like half the options were missing.

The Arden
Had a great time in Stratford, hotel was lovely so we’re staff, only had one gripe it’s an old building and the room we stayed in was by the staircase and it was very noisy and squeaky would stay again but choose a different room.

We’ve stayed here many times as it was an SLH hotel. It’s a wonderful hotel in the centre of Stratford, perfect for the RSC, however the rooms are starting to look a little tired, it could do we a refresh.

Upgraded room was not so good. The room smelt damp due to a leak in the bathroom, the bed was uncomfortable, the tv did not get all the channels and the people in the next room were noisy, waking us up at 6am with their tv blaring. The lady on reception however was very apologetic and helpfull so found us another room, which althoug smaller,was much better. The breakfast on the first morning was ok but on the second morning my husband was served cold scrambled eggs which he had to send back. All in all it was a pleasant stay in a nice hotel in a good location with very pleasant staff, but all those stairs!
