It was clean and the staff was very friendly. Close to the freeway. Was happy they provided breakfast which my kids loved. I was happy there was a pool.

Right on the freeway and in need of repair

Person at the front desk did not even look up from her chair when we arrived. She stayed seated with little eye contact. When we entered our room there was spackling all over the walls, the towels were the size of hand towels and the dumpster outside just topped the effect. The road noise from 101 kept us up all night even though we were on the other side of the building. The phone did not work and the hot and cold were reversed on the shower. The atmosphere was unfriendly and desperate.

Convenient, inexpensive, no frills

Cons: More attentive front desk.
Location: I just needed access to the highway since I had meetings in the surrounding area, so this was fine.
This is a convenient and inexpensive hotel and I would stay again, however I have caveats. The staff is friendly, yet not organized. I arrived a day before my travel partner. When she checked in on the second afternoon, the staff put her in the wrong room. When they discovered their mistake, they asked her to come down and get a new key. She had just emerged from the shower (in someone else's room!) and insisted that they come up to give it to her. Also, I had business literature shipped to the hotel. Only after insisting that the package had arrived, did they find it in their holding area. I would've expected them to have notified me when it arrived. That said - the rooms were clean, the cleaning staff was pleasant, the gym was adequate, the free breakfast was fine. You get what you pay for.

Not the best choice

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
The grounds are pretty well kept and the breakfast is great. The rooms are pretty run down, and my refrigerator was broken all week. I kept telling the front desk but it was never fixed.

Not what I expected but good...

Pros: Free breakfast, Quiet
This hotel wasn't exactly what we expected as the building was older than we like, but it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was good as well. One unexpected benefit was they had a free laundry room for guest. That was an unexpected perk, especially with two children under two who discovered playing with the water in their sippy cups this weekend.
