Stain on duvet, the pillows were rock hard, you couldn't flatten them out from their perpetual round shape. The sheets felt like 100 count. They were rough. Their buffet area is in the lobby when we checked in an entire lacrosse team was there. The noise was very off-putting.

Staff at check in were not friendly or helpful. Breakfast staff wasn’t able to keep up with the busy Saturday morning and really needed another staff member. Facilities are not well kept. Room was dirty at check in

Poor! only 6 outdoor chairs poolside 2 of had huge holes. Dead frog in spa filter, told lady at from desk and she said she wasn’t responsible for anything outside. Hotel is very rundown and desperately needs upgrades. The tub mat was coming off the tub and very dirty underneath, toilets don’t flush properly. Elevators a hundred years old and slow as molasses! Will never stay at any La Quinta again. Most of the front desk people were very friendly and helpful and housekeeping was very good.

The staff was very helpful and our room was very spacious and clean. We would highly recommend staying at the La Quinta Inn in Brandon, FL. We also enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning.
