Pet-Friendly Cabin, close to Mountain Stream and Ski Return Trail

This cabin is located just 1.5 miles above the base area, within walking distance to a mountain stream and ski return trail. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the unit sleeps up to 8 guests.

The primary bedroom features one king bed and a bathroom with a beautifully tiled walk-in shower. A second bedroom has a bunk with one twin and one queen, perfect for a small family. This bedroom also has a bathroom, which is equipped with a washer and dryer as well as a claw foot tub for relaxing after a long day of skiing. There is a third bedroom which offers a king bed and a twin with a trundle. Both the living room and primary bedroom are equipped with Dish TVs for indoor entertainment.

For your convenience, a washer and dryer with necessary supplies are available. Also, wood is supplied for a wood stove to make your Taos retreat even cozier.
Because of area weather conditions, we highly recommend that guests bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle during the ski season (November-April).

Ski in ski out!
Nice older style cabin with radiant floor heating and a tankless water heater. Only downside is if the ski return trail is closed, or it's past 4pm there's literally no way to get back to the cabin other than a long trek up the hill with all your stuff. Oh and get groceries, the ski village mart is very limited.

Deja vu magical vacation
Second stay in this wonderfully located and cozy cabin. Came up with the family again, virtually ski in and ski out, pinion wood fire going during the day, stars at night. Can’t beat it

Lovely if Challenging
The cabin was perfect and, but for the snow storms that blocked the road, this would be a 5 star stay. We were unable to drive to Taos ski village - about 1 mile away - until the snow plows reached this remote road - usually later in the day. So, if the weather is fine and the roads are passable, consider staying here. If it snows and the road is unpassable, the stay can be frustrating.

Great location, nice kitchen and living space. Plenty of room for 2 small families to share. Easy to get to the base area and then back to the cabin at the end of the day or stop back for lunch

Great rustic getaway
Beautiful area, easy ski in and ski out literally 40 yards max from the front door to a green that goes directly to main lift at the base. Awesome woodburning stove with pinion wood stocked out front, rustic cabin. Can hear everyone in the house so don't book if you're trying to keep secrets but if you like who you're on vacation with it's no issue. Loved the cabin, super cozy, heated floors so you can watch it snow outside while you walk around in shorts and t shirt. Plenty of snow shoeing trails nearby, Golden Bear/Bavarian restaurants were great, just a short walk down the street to get to shops at the resort complex but far enough away from that you feel like your in a cabin away from everything. Wouldn't look anywhere else if this cabin is open for our next Toas ski trip.

Loved our stay at Denton cabin at Taos ski valley. Really nice after we figured out how to access the ski return right by the house. Relaxing house, loved cooking dinner for my family there and puzzling all night. Boys loved roaming around the snowy property.

Taos High
Ideal location to explore everything Taos Ski Valley has to offer and more. The cabin is comfortable, quiet, and nicely equipped. The rustic nature of the cabin is refreshing amongst the current development occurring in the area.
