Was turned away and they blamed Travelocity...was sent down the street to fireweed motel which I think was a friend of the guesthouse people where they charged an additional 40 more than the guesthouse...think I was scammed...what is to ne done?

Hello. I'm really sorry that we had to turn you away, but you had pets with you and we did not a pet friendly room available! We don't offer pet friendly rooms on Expedia at all, so I'm not sure how we can be blamed for that. It would be totally wrong of us to allow pets into a place that we advertise as pet-free. Just so you know, we do not know the owners at the Fireweed at all, I just recommended them because I know they are pet friendly. Yes, all the hotels in town are much more expensive than the Guesthouse on a regular basis. Our place is a great deal!
