No Pets/Smoke only outside. While the world seems to be shut down with the recent crises our wonderful forests are open with so many things to do. Feeling anxiety? Come to our big back yard full of State Parks, rivers, waterfalls and mountains to relieve any stress. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall-Get-Away From It All. You'll want to come back to this beautiful and cozy 2 bed/2 bath true log cabin that sleeps 4 nestled in Coker Creek, TN inside the Cherokee National Forest at the Unicoi Mountains. It is located on our 12 acre mountain top where you can see over 8 miles of the Unicoi Mountain from anywhere in or out of your cabin. Adults and children have a blast Gold Panning with our pay dirt at the cabin in our trough. Equipped with even the little stuff, this cabin is turn-key, just bring your toothbrush and food. Master bedroom: Comfortable king bed with mattress warmer for the winter months, private bath w/ shower, large walk in closet. 2nd bedroom: Queen bed 2nd hallway bath: Jacuzzi. Wrap around porch with Unicoi mountain views, 5 steps at front porch and 10 steps at back porch, washer/dryer, Satellite TV w/ hookups, land line phone w/answering machine and your own phone number, Wi-Fi service, Brochures/Maps, Central air/heat, pure well water for drinking and cooking, outside fire-ring/free fire-wood and sitting area, charcoal grill, children's books and games. Circular driveway around rental cabin and area for trailers. Driveway up to cabin point 2 miles from main road is always maintained by our tractor and smooth enough for bikes, trailers or motor homes. Owners cabin on property for security or anything you need at any time and can provide tours. No smoking/e-cigarettes/cigars/cigarettes or hookah's in the cabin, please smoke on the porch and dispose of properly in the ashtray's outside. No pets. We are sorry that we do not allow pets at all for a couple reasons. We specifically have those that are allergic to pets and/or smoke stay with us in addition to everyone just loves the smell of the logs when they walk in the log cabin. Therefore we have the specific house rules of no smoking or pets. Very sorry we do not make any acceptations on these two cabin rules.

This log cabin is located 1900 ft high on 12 acres in the mountains of Coker Creek, TN. viewing 8+ miles of the Unicoi Mountains. We are located in the tri-state corner of Ga, NC and TN. Therefore you can easily visit all 3 states. Off Hwy 68, on Old Joe Brown Hwy, you are only 4 miles from NC from the cabin. In the winter you have the beautiful view of the ice capped mountains but the ice or snow usually isn't in your yard. Snowboarding is nearby. In the fall (late Sept. to mid Nov.) you have the spectacular colors of fall you will find no where else. In the summer you can do all the outdoor activities your heart desires. In the spring you find all the wonderful wild flowers and trees in bloom. Anytime of year is wonderful in the high mountains of Coker Creek. Like to gold mine? Ask us about our gold panning right at your cabin with our pay dirt in the trough. If you ride a motorcycle or dual sport, this is the area to ride! Miles of riding with beauty and no stops, just go, go, go. Great duel sport trails with many forest roads. Like to ride motorcycles? Ask us about our many motorcycle riding tours March through October. We ride a 79 Triumph Bonnie and are more than happy to show you around our area or suggest some of our finest riding roads like the Dragon, Smokies, Reliance and more. Fishing, kayaking, hiking and bicycles are all over the forest areas with many rivers, trails and nice cycling roads for training.

We expect our renters to happy and we are always available so there is no excuse for anything to go wrong with your stay.

Check in after 4:00 pm, Check out 11 am, unless prior arrangements made. Please give us indication of your approximate arrival. EXTRA GUESTS ABOVE YOUR BOOKING IS $25 per night/per guest unless prior arrangements with us are made. Guest that booked must arrive first or with guests and must stay the entire time, not leaving their guests to finish a reservation.

re: Cell Phone Service/Internet:= Most are able to use their cell phone, however, all carriers do not have cell service throughout the mountains. They have added a new cell phone tower nearby recently and upgraded internet services from 1 gb per sec to 25 gb per second. Your cell phone will work off wi-fi at and around the cabin with any ap. There is also a land-line phone in the cabin with your own phone number. There is a cell phone hot spot at the Welcome Center just around the corner from us if needed. By the way, you'll forget about your cell phone anyway when staying on the mountain!
