I would like to first start off by saying our room was very nice. The size was great and clean. The main lobby also had some shelves where you could borrow dvds, games, etc. We asked the front desk attendant if there was a DVD player in the room, and she told us there was. We get to the room and there is no DVD player. We called the front desk to see if there were any extra DVD players and she told us she didn’t think so. We went down to the little convenient store and was asking about an ice cream shop that was being advertised on the wall, she had no idea. The biggest complaint is safety. The door coming from the parking lot into the hotel was not locked. You are suppose to use your key to get in, but it did not work. Anyone could enter the hotel from back there. Our floor also smelled of marijuana. If you opened the door the smell permeated into our room. In the parking lot there were guys using their own grills and just hanging out and drinking. Overall, we did not feel safe in the common areas or parking lot with our child. This hotel has potential, but there are some huge factors that need to be addressed.

Clean hotel near ISU

I stayed overnight for a college visit to isu. The staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean & nice. Beds were the comfiest I've ever slept on in a hotel. We'll staying again.

Enjoyable Stay, Highly Recommend

Very clean, rooms were very comfortable and well laid out. Location was very nice, close to cafes and restaurants that weren't the usual strip mall hang ons. We had a nice stay.

Great downtown hotel!

New renovated, very clean, front desk friendly, love location that is just minutes from Indiana State where our daughter goes! Also for did not have to buy room for special parent rate during orientation, much appreciated.

The rooms are spacious (especially if you request a HCP room!) Staff are very friendly and accommodating and the rate per night is affordable. The elevators leave much to be desired but...
