If you've never slept at a hotel before...this may work as entry level...otherwise, unless you are stuck like we were, do not stay here.
The not horrid; we were on the second floor and heard no noise from bar at all.
The rest: we were on the second floor =4 flights of steep stairs, carpeted in the 80's? If you don't look too close it looks clean. The room...something out of a 70's drama tv set, slapped together, sink in room, no bathroom or shower. 19"? Tv on wall...no screen in window and 90° in room when we got there. No air con, portable etectric oil heaters for room. Back of door has suspicious and gross stains all over it. Seriously....a little renovation would go a LONG way here....there is one toilet with a paper thin sliding (closet?) , wasn't flushing, tiny space. The full bath could have been nice, it was big enough, but again no love shown by property management....broken tiles , no screen in window, GROSS ratty shower curtain.... does the job but still wrong...so very wrong.
Bed wss fine, pillows fine. If you end up here because everywhere else was sold out, like us, put on the side lamp, not the overhead light, and deal with it. $160 for this place was ridiculous...luckily my husband has a sense of humour. Would recommend some renos to make this place less creepy, and dumpy.
