Best house on the block
This is an older row home that has had indoor renovations to make it a solid rental property. There are three levels, one bedroom and bathroom on the second floor and two bedrooms on the third floor. The bathroom and kitchen have been updated, and there are new appliances in the kitchen. The furniture is rental sufficient and the beds were comfortable enough. Because it’s an older home, there are quirks like sloping stairs and corners that will never be completely clean, but overall the property is clean. The pac man basically increased the rating by a star because my 4 year old loved it so much.
Unfortunately, the neighborhood still needs some love. The house next door is completely dilapidated, as are many other houses on the street. We didn’t have any safety concerns, but I didn’t feel 100% safe in the location. The street is very loud with cars driving by and we had to have a sound machine to drown it out. There are also no curtains on the windows and my son was up at 5:45am when the sun came up…and there’s no coffee maker.
Overall we found the home to be well equipped and comfortable for our stay, but the location is the asterix worth considering for some people.
