We wanted somewhere quiet in the country to spend a weekend where our kids could run around and get some fresh air. This place was great for that. We spent most of our time in the creek playing in the water. While we had a lot of fun, I would maybe not recommend this spot for kids under 6-7 unless you're prepared to say "don't touch that" every five seconds. There are things every where on display, think Cracker Barrel from floor to ceiling but not mounted as firmly. The only other thing to be prepared for is the kitchen has plenty of appliances, but not any cooking basics apart from some basic spices. Also there is no charcoal for the grill so you'll have to bring your own. We didn't realize it until it was late in the day and figured if we had to go into town for something we'd let someone else do the cooking. We were able to get take out from 1885 and it was delicious! highly recommend trying it out if you're in the area.
