We have stayed at Quality Inns before and have always been happy. This was definitely an older hotel, so I don’t expect the amenities to be as up to date as in the newer ones however. However, I do expect it to be clean. Our tub/shower it was so gross, neither me or my son would even think of showering in it. It almost looked as if in the corners there was black mold. The bathroom at self did not look clean either... there was stuff all over the door and the walls. We really couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Thankfully, it was just a quick overnight after seeing a show down in Tucson.

Awful. The first room they gave me had a front door that physically would not close. I mean it didn't fit in the jamb. A hotel employee came and tried to close it three times then walked away with a "huh." So I asked for another room. (They didn't offer. I had to ask) The next room had a front door that closed but only one way to lock it. The deadbolt and the mechanical lock were both broken/missing. It also had curtains that physically would not close. There was a two foot gap in the middle that only the shears would cover. These points are important because there was a parking lot party outside my room most of the night. It may have been the local prostitutes that hang out in the lot, I'm not sure. (Not the best neighborhood) There was a car with a loud thumping stereo in the lot throughout the night blocking guest cars in. My chair-less patio outside my window was also used as a urinal over night. Nice. The bathroom had a peep hole (I think, it was stuffed with bits of toilet paper.) The carpets in the room were very stained. The wall paint was blotchy, mis-matched. There was a dirty sock behind the dresser and white powder along the perimeter of the room. I was later told this was likely Diatomaceous Earth powder used to control bedbugs. Nice. I checked in too late to find other accommodations so I pulled the bed away from the wall, left all my luggage in the car and tried to sleep through the party outside. Despite the name, this did not feel like a quality inn at all.

Pros: Close to Univ. of AZ.
Cons: Needs many renovations
It is a very old hotel; guessing that Quality Inn will be doing many renovations. Walking distance to Univ. of AZ. When Parking Lot is full, there is no place to turn around.

Retro motel in great condition - very clean, modern

Pros: Loved the retro look and nice staff.
Cons: The hot tub at the pool could be cleaner.
Location: Close to downtown. Lots of nice restaurants and bars and music venues.
This motel has been renovated and externally has the 50s retro motel look and the rooms are very clean and comfortable and modern. They are also very roomy. The location is safe and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The price was great for how nice the facility was. I will definitely stay here again.

This place is not for the vain

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
It would have been perfect inside, had it not been for the broken table lamp and the stains on the floor. The rest of inside the room was gorgeous, and we saved on food costs with the microwave and refrigerator in our room and the nice breakfast. Exterior is run down, renovations have gone as far as 2 fresh coats of paint (looks like it's over dry rot or old pest infestation???) can go.
