"We just finished a 5 night stay at the property and loved it. Our ocean view room was clean and spacious and had a great view of the beach. The entire staff was super friendly and always trying to help. The breakfasts at the Olivia Cafe were not only beautifully presented but also delicious. Lunch from the Agave restaurant was good as well. We had great plans of visiting cenotes and other sites, but we were so comfortable at the hotel that we only managed to visit the Tulum ruins and go into towns once. Parking was convenient just across the street so don't hesitate to rent a car down there. If you don't rent a car, there are really good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. I would definitely go back there the next time we go to Tulum. "

"The hotel and its staff couldn't be better -- the rooms were lovely and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful in every way. The restaurant is excellent. Mi Amor is located in the Nature Preserve outside of Tulum very near the Mayan ruin which is either a big plus or a big minus depending on why you're going to Tulum in the first place. If you love the loud boisterous bar and beach scene of the town, this is not the place for you. This is the place to get away from all that. The downside is if you want to sample more than a handful of restaurants, everything is a $25-$30 cab ride (each way). The hotel restaurant is excellent and there are a couple of other good ones within walking distance, but going out quickly becomes expensive. Local beaches are beautiful but were full of seaweed most (but not all) of the time we were there. Adults only (No kids running around) policy adds to the peace and quiet. "
