Good Choice for the game

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
My wife and I stayed here two nights when we went to the AL/UT game. The room was very spacious and had a full size refrigerator. There was a recliner, flat screen and nice bathroom. It’s not luxurious but it is comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would say it was overpriced, but every hotel in Tuscaloosa is overpriced on a football weekend, and the Candlewood was well within reason compared to others in the area. Overall, I was very happy with our stay and we will be back.

Great Place to Stay

Stayed here while I came to drop of my son at the University. The hotel was great and the staff was wonderful. I loved the full size fridge in the rooms. The hotel seemed pretty new and was very impressed. I was also surprised to find that the rate was as low as it was. I travel a lot, so normally a place like is a lot more than what I paid for it. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who is coming to Tuscaloosa. The location is great and the place just seemed really clean.

Great Stay During Graduation

We usually stay at the Hampton, but my family and I stayed at the Candlewood Suites for graduation at UA and we were delightfully surprised at how nice the hotel was. The staff was great and it was nice to have a full kitchen in the rooms. The room was very clean and the staff was great. Great value compared to the older hotels in Tuscaloosa.
