Although the hotel is architectually beautiful, it definitely is not user friendly. Constant problems trying to find something. If you stay here, insist on a room on the third floor ( where the front desk is) Second floor is a nightmare to navigate. Would not stay here again.

Our first stay at a Camino Real hotel

Camino Real in Tuxtla was top of the line in every respect. Our room was conveniently located, the on-site restaurants were great, with good food, five star service and moderately priced. We especially enjoyed the open air atrium with waterfall and 2 pools, live music and bands in the afternoons. The only downside was the weather got very cool throughout our stay so we were unable to enjoy the pools. I would definitely recommend this for ANYONE . Oh yes, the one negative. Our room service consistently forgot to leave us coffee for the next morning but a call to Room Service rectified that daily oversight.
