Info said the facility was renovated and the exterior was attractive. However, the interior of our ground level suite was dark, very worn and shabby furniture, dirty carpet and bathroom floor, among other things. Heating/cooling unit did not work and needed repair. Overall a place I would never stay at again and would never recommend. It fell extremely short of expectations especially given the price of the room. The only positive feature is that it is close to the beach.

Loved the location. Loved the old style but absolutely did not expect the filth on the floor and the stench of the room when we checked in. Please get rid of the carpet in the rooms!!!!!!!!!!! So absolutely disgusting. The area where the ice machines and laundry were was filthy. Had to ask for each and every thing, towel service some days and some days not. What is the policy? They charged my credit card upon arrival. Not a usual practice in the hotel business. Would love to stay there again if they would clean up the place. This being in the down time and not the busy season. They make you sign a "contract" to be a good guest but they do not provide good service. Check out - the girls were too busy and hardly spoke. Did not ask me for feedback. This is the South - expected a little Southern courtesy and mask properly worn during the Covid pandemic. The place is charming if it was cleaner and the staff friendlier. The maintenance man was very helpful and kind. First time I have had to call a maintenance man to a hotel room in all my years of traveling. Please fix it up and get friendlier, more professional staff.

The property was clean aside from a few small things, food pieces in fold out couch bed and dirty sheets on fold out. We are a family of four and only were left two bath towels and no dish rag. The property is nice for what it is and the price we paid. I did not appreciate the statement that the property was 30 second walk to the beach, this is not true at all. The property is not on the beach nor is the beach visible from the property. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
