Not to good , from checking in, it seemed a lot of trouble. Very badly signed internally. Dinner waitress should have sat down with us the number of time she checked our table. Bedroom was nice if a little dated. Spa pool very cold changing rooms tired and a little scruffy. Food was fine nothing fantastic. Overall felt they would have preferred us to send money and not go. Guests not required

Best hotel.
One of the best hotels I've stayed at in quite a while. The location, parking and staff. As well as room and hotel restaurant was amazing. Only down point was that i only stayed for 3 nights. Will most definitely book this hotel when next in the area.

Good service and nice breakfast.
A 3 day stay for business. Very comfortable with a nice breakfast. Fabulous views across the river from the restaurant. I was also impressed that the hotel rang me to let me know that I had left an item in the room.

Ideal Lake District hideaway
Fantastic location, make sure to get a room with a river view, sound of rushing water can be quite loud but relaxing and sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea in the morning was a great way to start the day
