"The hotel itself was pleasant. The staff rude and not the least bit helpful. The bathroom in our room was not clean and I complained to the front desk staff. She responded with "I'm Sorry". We left for an obligation expecting the bathroom to be clean when we returned but it was not. I again complained to the front desk staff which was a different person. She complained that they were swamped with people complaining to obtain a free room. I asked her to accompany me to the room so I could show her my concerns. She advised that was not necessary and offered that I speak to a manager the next day. Our stay was the result of a tragic event and we traveled 2500 miles. Our stay was stressful enough that I did not take the time to speak to a third person. Also, we paid for the room in advance. Upon check in, the clerk advised that we needed to provide a credit card which would be charged $10 just in the event of incidentals. Instead we received a charge of $120.62. Upon calling the hotel, we were advised that the charge would be reversed that day. 3 days later, the charge has not been reversed. Going forward, I will choose a different hotel to stay in."
