Amazing location

Very friendly and accommodating staff! Room was clean and well equipped coffee hot tea microwave Frig w little freezer. Nice hot tub. Wine and cheese or choc chip cookies and hot choc in the lobby. Always fresh water and fruit near the front desk. Ski valet was super convenient ! Walk right out to the lift.... great place to stay

Wonderful Place To Stay!!!

We went up for a weekend getaway and had a fabulous time. Loved the hotel and rooms, the atmosphere was beautiful and the staff was awesome!! Sophia, Loren, and Pino

Great hospitality !

I enjoyed my stay . I would upgrade next time to the mountain view for the view and a breeze. The room facing the parking lot was pretty warm, but fan placed in window helped. Front desk personale was very nice and helpful. The service was also very good in the restaurant, with really good food at a reasonable price.

Great Stay! Great Location!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, location
We could not have been any happier with our stay at Lion Square Lodge. The location right next to the Eagle Bahn Gondola was terrific. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our one bedroom with loft condo looked right across Gore Creek onto the slopes. There was plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 children. We cannot wait to come back!

Lion Square Lodge is in a perfect location for walking around Vail and getting to the lift. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there!

This place was amazing

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We booked for the hotel room, but we were put in a 1 BR condo end unit in the South Building. It was amazing! The place was nicely appointed and we could not have been any happier with the accommodations. I peeked into one of the regular hotel rooms on the floor and they looked nice.The view was amazing. The location is prime with easy access to the Eagle Bahn Gondola.

Warm, friendly, and accommodating staff

Pros: very close to the slopes, warm friendly staff
What a warm, friendly, and very accommodating staff at the Lion Square Lodge. We booked this hotel due to it's great location to the gondola/ski lift at Lionshead. What we did not know and found out very quickly is it's "outstanding staff" - it was a warm feeling from the minute we walked into the lobby and continued throughout our entire trip.

Fantastic stay!!!!!

Stayed at the Lion Square Lodge for 6 days between the Christmas and New Year holidays. The hotel is in a perfect position just adjacent to the Gondola that takes you up the mountain for skiing/snowboarding. Just a short stroll and you are on your way. This saves a lot of hassle that you would otherwise incur having to lug around heavy ski/snowboarding ear to get to the slopes. You can even buy your day tickets at the concierge desk for the gondola to save you the hassle of waiting in the queues to buy them. There is also storage for your ski/snowboard gear which can save you up to $*/night at other locations around the village that charge you for storage. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very friendly. No complaints whatsoever. The room we had was perfect for a family of 4, not too big and not too small. Its at the base of the mountains so the views are breathtaking. The hotel is part of Lionshead village and close by there is a general store that you can buy snacks and other stuff for munching on. Lots of restaurants close by to dine on as well. Definitely give Garfinkels (a sports bar) a go as that is very reasonably priced and give you generous servings that will fill you. Overall we could not have been happier with the hotel choice. Great location, great rooms and service. Would definitely stay there again.

great place

My trip was 10 hotel/motel nights and the Lion Square Lodge was the very best. Great fascility, very helpful staff, beautifully appointed room at a beautiful mountain setting. Great restaurants and entertainment within a few minutes walk. I hope I have an opportunity to return.
