Lovely hotel in the Dorsoduro; less touristy

Pros: Its convenience and seclusion in a very touristy city. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was delicious.
Cons: Elevator could stick between floors, but staff quickly solved problem.
Location: In the Dorsoduro district. Accademia and Peggy Guggenheim art museums nearby. Also gondola stop. Not full of tourists walking to St, Marks Square.
This hotel was charming and perfectly located away from the touristy St. Marks area. Near the Accademia and the superb Guggenheim Museum. Quiet restaurants on the Zattere side of the district. Delicious breakfast buffet. Staff was welcoming and helpful.
