Our room in the annex was not the greatest. It was a good 5 minute walk from the main Hotel. It felt dark and isolated, with only tiny windows that looked out at nothing. Not very nicely decorated and had a broken mirror and faucet handle that kept coming off.

Perfect location in Venice
We loved our stay! The location is perfect. We were in the Annex apartment with a room overlooking the canal. We could not get over how beautiful the view was! The bathroom is separate, but right across the hall and private with a key, not shared with other guest rooms. Each morning the sweetest woman brought us a lovely breakfast. It was a highlight of each day. Hot shots of espresso, croissants, yogurt, orange juice- much more than the two of us needed. The room and bathroom were extremely well cleaned. The mattress was uncomfortable, and probably was past due being replaced, but everything else was so lovely that we overlooked this. The location is halfway between Rialto and St. Marks, so easy walking to either, but it is away from the herds of tourists. It seemed to be a neighborhood with many locals. Also, the air conditioning was SUPER! Nothing is cold in Italy in the summer, but our room was a cold little oasis after a long day walking in the heat.
