The location absolutely can not be beaten! You are 3 to 4 blocks walking distance to downtown Victoria and the inner harbor as well as museums and restaurants. The staff was very nice and let us in early to drop our gear and freshen up. The breakfast menu is really well thought out. The kitchen staff was great, the food was excellent and we enjoyed mixing company with other travellers at the large tables on the back deck. We had a really great time and we plan on coming back to Marketia's as our first choice.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. We were in the honeymoon suite, and the jet tub was beautiful. It was very clean and well kept. It's an old place, so no A/C, but there were fans so it was comfortable especially with the night sir through the window. Very quiet neighborhood. The breakfast is only for an hour from 8:30-9:30, I would have preferred till 10:30
