Freshly remodeled duplex on historic Austin Ave. Close to Magnolia, Downtown Waco, Cottonland Castle & Baylor University.

The house was built after the 1953 tornado. Before completion the house was elegantly re-designed and finished by Abner McCall for his mother and her guest or caregivers.
It took us 2 years to remodel the property. My mother lives in one side and now we offering the guest side for Waco visitors. The property has a large fenced in backyard and a common courtyard (great outdoor space) that is great for hanging out. Easily sleeps 2 couples. Queen bed in one room and KIng in the other. Remodeled kitchen with new modern appliances. All of the furniture is new. The furniture is from a famous Dallas department store. The furniture was used as samples for photo shoots to feature in catalogs and their website (fyi our main job is in furniture wholesale). Cable Televisions in both bedrooms and living room. Wireless internet. Plenty of parking, located on a large corner lot.

Everything was EXCEPTIONAL! The house, location, floor plan, furniture, appliances, bedding, lighting, the art, the flooring, rugs, etc. The kitchen was so well stocked a gourmet cook would be impressed. Is rained off and on so sadly, we were not able to take advantage of the lovely outdoor spaces. It’s impossible to exaggerate the description on this VRBO. Thank you, Bill.

This home was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect and in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. The owner was attentive and welcoming. There was a bottle of wine and coffee if we needed it. The home was impeccably clean and lovely. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely house in a great location!
This house is the perfect place to stay in Waco. It is tucked in a beautiful neighborhood with close proximity to downtown Waco and Baylor. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed the bonus of off street parking and a beautiful private patio. Communication with the owner was great too. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

This is one of the nicest, cleanest and well-stocked rentals we have stayed in. Location is perfect, extremely clean and the owner thought of every detail regarding stocking the home with supplies and extras. Outdoor space is wonderful and the neighborhood is very quiet. Perfect location for Waco Weekend! Home was located in beautiful historical district and so close to all things Magnolia. House was immaculate and furnishings were absolutely gorgeous. BEST Vrbo EVER
FANTASTIC experience! My health-required zero-salt diet means I must cook everywhere I travel. This kitchen was WONDERFUL to cook in. Property had everything we needed and is positively beautiful. The location was ideal for ease of navigation all over Waco. We stay at Vrbo’s all over US & Europe and this is the best place we have stayed. Impeccably clean. Most comfortable bed anywhere. Owner has beautiful taste in decor and excellent taste in wine (free bottle in frig). Could not have been happier with our stay. We were in town for a family member’s surgery and this was a perfect peaceful place for their recovery. During recovery they were able to have friends over and sit on the lovely patio. Also had a friend or two stop by for dinner to keep them company. All the friends who visited commented on how beautiful the place was. Again, we could not have been happier with our stay.

My wife and I enjoyed this perfect guest house in Waco for a few days this spring. The location is perfect - 5 min drive to nearly everything. The furnishings and decor are beautiful. Working with Bill (the owner) was awesome and his mother (next door) is very sweet. I highly recommend this property!!
