We had the George Washington Suite. Everything; amenities, service, accommodations at the B&B was impeccable. Alex was accommodating to my restricted diet. Leroy's service was considerate and they both went above and beyond. The only thing I would caution other visitors about is the size of the shower in the George Washington Suite. It is quite small and the shower head is on the long wall as opposed to the short wall in this small rectangular shower stall. (Luckily, I'm petite, so it was not an issue with me. I would suggest considering another room at the B&B if you are a large person. Other than that, no worries! Fantastic stay!

One of the limitations of being in an actual, historic home is bathroom sizes but never fear! We have several rooms with very large bathrooms too. I didn’t like how ridiculously small the bathroom was and that it had another bedroom attached to it. Someone’s trash was still in the bedroom trash can and the bed was “rickety”.

Thanks for your review. I am sorry that your stay wasn't up to par with our expectations. I wish you had told me while you were here. I would have immediately fixed any and all issues you had - up to and including moving you to a different room. I think it should go without saying that we don't leave trash in bedrooms as a matter of course, and of course I am terribly sorry for that. What more can I say? As for the "ridiculously" small bathroom: I get it. Not much I can do about the size of the bathrooms. I trust those reading your review will understand the limitations of an old house in a colonial town. As far as the bed: that's a first for your room. Again, terribly sorry. We struck out with you guys and that's never a fun thing to have happen. Thanks for your stay all the same. I enjoyed talking with you both and I would have done my utmost to right the wrongs we committed had you confided them with me before confiding them with the Internet.
