I made my reservation online 12 days before my stay and reserved a NON-SMOKING room. When I arrived I was informed at checkin that my room had been switched to SMOKING. The stench in the room was terrible. I’ve used this hotel several times in the past, but next time in the area I’ll be staying somewhere else.

I had reservations! Got there no bath towels in room , nor was there a bed spread on bed. When I asked for towels, they had given ALL there towels out

Room was comfortable. King bed. Smelled a little weird. Not sure how to describe. Did express checkout. Bill was under the door. Was told breakfast was grab and go bag. When we were leaving around 9 am, asked about it. Was told by the older dude behind the desk that he made 30 and they were all gone. My thought was shouldn't enough be made to cover number of guests. Not like it couldn't be used the next day. Will probably try a different hotel next visit.

Nice for the money

Pros: clean, multiple amenties etc.
Cons: Would have been nice if the pool was not being serviced
Location: Located in Wise Va. Near Bristol Tennessee & the Smoky mountains. Multiple options within a short driving distance
Myself and my wife stayed one Saturday night here & were pleasantly suprised. We arrived at the hotel earlier that the 2:00 pm listed check in time, but were allowed to go to the room before that. The room was large even with the king sized bed in it. TV had a lot of channels available including multiple premium channels for no charge. Wifi worked great . Room was clean & had all the amenties, such as hair dryer, small fridge, microwave, etc. The hotel has a fitness area & an indoor pool, but it was being serviced. The next morning we were up earlier & went downstairs for the free breakfast. Very happy with the food options and the food was tasty, They had scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits, sausage gravy, make your own waffles, orange, grape & cranberry juice, cereal, milk, coffee, bagels, toast granola, bagels etc. We would definately stay here again if we are in this area in the future.

Enjoyable stay.

Pros: Clean and friendly.
Location: There is much history to be explored nearby. The Lonesome Pine School and Heritage Center in Big Stone Gap is unique. Much Wise County history.
We checked the reviews before booking. We also rate the Best Western Wise very high. We were pleased.

Nice place

Hotel is clean, well maintained and reasonably priced. Clean, if plain, indoor pool and exercise room. Staff if friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast with waffles.

Best hotel for this price we have stayed in for some time.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Clean quiet friendly great location. We enjoyed the pool. When we go back for graduation this is where we will be staying.

A nice motel

We stayed here for two nights on a weekend & had two rooms. The staff was very efficient. We had non smoking rooms which were truly non smoking. The breakfast was sparse, but acceptable. I couldn't talk my granddaughters into getting up for it the second day. Pool is indoors and small, but very usable. Overall a good place to stay

very poor

We booked a non-smoking room, but when we went into the room it was horrible with the smell of cigarette smoke. We ask to change, the desk clerk did give us another room although it was not much better. The smell was still very strong but we could not get another room with any other hotels so we did stay in the room.
