Fantastic
A one night break me and my wife between Christmas and New Year. We paid a bit extra for one of the courtyard rooms, very worthwhile. We didn't use the SPA facilities, but they looked very nice. Fantastic Staff, Reasonably priced food and drink both of which were great quality. Very easy to find with lots of parking. We will return, which is unusual for us as we like to try different places.

Dated courtyard rooms, no heating
We live local to Woodbridge and made a decision to stay at Seckford Hall as we’d driven past it so many times in the past and wanted to support a local business. The building itself is stunning, friendly staff greated us and gave us our room keys. Then proceeded to show us to our room, not in the grand building but in a 1990’s annex in the car park. Disappointed doesn’t cover it! Once in damp and cold room we learned that the heating in the bathroom didn’t work. A quick call to reception was met by a disgruntled receptionist agreeing maintenance would take a look. Hours later and no one turned up. So we got ready for our evening meal in a damp cold bathroom. Sadly I’ve got nothing nice to say about the bathroom, it was dated, damaged, mouldy, damp, cold and inadequate for a hotel that cost £150 a night. The meal there was average to good. Service from the restaurant and bar staff was good. In handing back the keys to reception I was met by a flustered lady who took the keys off me without acknowledging me. When I complained about the room, she stated that someone should have fixed it.

The staff where fantastic! We had a little difficulty with room and the staff sorted it out quickly. The restaurant was great, and both dinner and breakfast where delicious.
