Nice B&B with GREAT breakfast!

Pros: Location and the breakfast was generous and delicious! Nice gas fireplace in the room.
Cons: Perfectly comfortable bed but antique-like four poster squeaked with any movement so hard to sleep. Small table or larger shelf in Bath for toiletries
One night stay. Nice accommodations. Willa and Dixie were very accommodating.

Beautiful B&B, excellent breakfast

Pros: The breakfast was delicious, a real treat!
Cons: Screens in the windows.
Location: It's on the edge of the main "strip" of activity in downtown Woodstock, but it's a nice walk to shops and restaurants.
We stayed in Woodstock for a late spring weekend for golfing and for dinner at Cloudland Farms (amazing!). This lovely place is well priced and the couple who runs it are charming and very sweet. We rented the large room with a private deck (second floor) it was so nice having an outdoor space and we would have enjoyed having more fresh air in our rooms but there were no screens: not in the windows or the patio door. Vermont is fresh and temperate, we were not thrilled with having to rely on a thru-the-wall A/C in late May.

Excellent Breakfast

The breakfast was wonderful as well as the atmosphere of friendliness set by the inkeepers! Not full so they upgraded our room.

Beautifully appointed B&B

Charming and comfortable bed-and-breakfast right in the heart of Woodstock Village. I was traveling alone and wanted an alternative to a hotel. The Charlston House was perfect for my needs. I felt right at home in this beautifully appointed New England colonial home. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was out of this world. The innkeepers are warm and charming and have an adorable dog.

A Delightful Experience

We had a delightful 2 night stay at the Charleston House. Willa and Dixi were so friendly and helpful. We found the room to be spotless and comfortable. The room was decorated in lovely antiques yet did not feel crowded or stuffy. Willa's breakfast was superb! We will definitely return.

The Vermont of Your Imagination

Pros: The room was great, parking was plentiful, hosts very friendly. Free WiFi
Location: Woodstock is right there with plenty of restaurants, shops, Middle Bridge, and beautiful scenery. Lots more to see and do nearby.
A quaint and cozy B&B just a block or so from "downtown" Woodstock, reportedly the prettiest village in Vermont. (Haven't seen them all, but hard not to agree.) A huge room with a fireplace and (!) very modern plumbing. Lots of room to get around and easy access. The seated breakfast was superb, and being seatedyou get to meet some interesting people from all over the world. (Old Brits seem to love New England.)
