The Red Lion, Milfield, excellent pub and hotel.
I had the pleasure of staying at The Red Lion and right from the beginning, I was greeted with a genuinely warm and convivial welcome. Walking into the pub, I was instantly struck by its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The impressive selection of quality ales made it clear that this was a place with a serious commitment to offering a great drink selection.
My room was spotlessly clean, and as soon as I settled in, I felt the comforting and homely atmosphere it exuded. It was clear that the staff took considerable care to ensure that everything was comfortable and inviting.
Dining at the pub was a true delight. The menu offered an extensive range of options, and each dish was cooked and presented to an impressively high standard. The waitress who took care of my table was not only friendly, but also went above and beyond to make sure my experience was exceptional. I truly appreciated the level of attentiveness and warmth from the entire staff.
Overall, my stay at The Red Lion was thoroughly enjoyable. The food and drink were exceptional, and the warmth of the staff made it an experience to remember. I'd like to extend my best wishes for success to the young couple running the establishment. I regret not asking for their names, but I hope to convey my appreciation in person next time I visit. I can say with confidence that The Red Lion will be my first choice when I return to the area.
