Service needs to be improved
The property was lovely with a gorgeous spa, amenities, and the included breakfast was delicious. The location is very central and convenient. The only downside was the service left something to be desired. For an almost 5 star hotel I expected the service to be much better. Some of the staff were very lovely but it was quite inconsistent.

This is a fabulous place to stay. The hotel is relatively new, and is beautifully appointed throughout. Our room (Grand Junior Suite with Matterhorn View) was spacious, elegantly furnished, with a beautiful bathroom, and 2 balconies with splendid views of the Matterhorn and Zermatt. All amenities in the room were top quality. We were very surprised and pleased to find that the hotel had placed a dog bed and feeding bowls for our dog. Also of note, each room comes with a private heated locker for ski equipment. Rental gear is delivered right to the locker the day before, and is picked up automatically at the end. The spa and gym were excellent. The heated outdoor pool was a wonderful way to cap off a long day of skiing. Last but not least, wonderful staff throughout.
