Horrible experience. In short, there were problems galore from the beginning. Smart door did not accept code, despite the management opening/rebooting remotely. After getting a new code, the door would sporadically not function. Human hair everywhere, bath mats filthy, balls of hair on carpet and in bathroom. Ants here and there. dried food on stove. Garage opener not functioning, and needed to be used manually. Bathroom surfaces, mirrors, soap dispensers not cleaned. Provided dishes were ALL dirty with dried on particles, dried streaked dark fluids, film and spots on cutlery (we washed everything right away). Pointed metal screws just sitting on carpeted surfaces (yes, I stepped on one barefoot since host does not allow shoes on the carpet). Used dirty Q-tips from previous guests left in garbage can with used tissue. Used dental floss on bathroom floor. A pill of some sort left on a nightstand. Used disposable contact lens cases on the nightstand of another bedroom. More disposable contact lenses in their cases found on the floor of a bathroom. A random belt sticking out from under the living room futon. Living room entertainment center missing a door. Stove missing a burner cap, preventing it from proper functioning. Upstairs HVAC not working properly, or program locked, making the upstairs uncomfortably warm. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Some towels questionable looking as though they had been used before our arrival. There are other issues, but you get the point. ALL issues, complete with videos and photos brought to management's attention. Their response was to ask for more photos and to say they would speak to their cleaning service. It took several messages before a rep finally offered any kind of apology. NO resolution of any kind was ever offered. Never offered to send out a cleaning crew. Never offered to send out maintenance to address the front door, garage door, or HVAC issues. In repeated communication with the management, they never offered ANYTHING; no refund, no attempt to fix the issue, barely an acknowledgement that there were issues. When I asked how they were going to try and resolve my concerns, they told me to file a formal dispute with VRBO. Wow......... This property had a LOT of potential, but this management company could not possibly care less about your experience. AVOID!!!
