The hotel is beautiful. Check-in wasn't optimal upon arrival. Only one person working initially. After several people lined up a second employee came out. Room was great, some dining options on-site, but not much in the area aside from a mall across the skybridge. Handy market in mall, and a really good quick eatery in the mall called L'Annexe. Breakfast buffet was quite expensive ($49 each person), but did have an excellent assortment of quality food as well as made to order eggs. Two of our days fell on a French Polynesia holiday in May. The swimming pool was packed both days with little to no chairs available. The following day, a sign was up advising no NON-guest people in pool. It was back to normal with plenty of room. The sushi restaurant was GREAT! Service at the pool wasn't that good, no one checking to see if we needed anything (not like in Mexico), but once we realized they have barcodes at the tables to use for ordering, the drinks and food came way quicker. Overall, a great place to stay if coming in to Tahiti.

Nice hotel…pool unusable/uninviting due to algae
Specifically chose this hotel because of location and the pictures of the gorgeous pool. The pool was so bad that we did not set foot in it doing our stay…incredible disappointment. Severe algae everywhere. We watch the Hilton team get out and spend hours trying to clean and vacuum the algae out of the pool both days. Clearly not chlorinating their water sufficiently. Paid a small fortune for the stay and the premier attraction was essential unusable. Saw majority of the people doing the same as us…staying out. Sad and inexcusable given the cost.
