Tochomae station is closer to Shinjuku Washington hotel. Tochomae is less crowded and less complex compared to Shinjuku station. There is a shorter under passage to Tochomae. Compare this to the tunnel connecting Shinjuku Washington to Shinjuku station which is farther away. Shinjuku Washington hotel has several restaurants on property.

Shinjuku Washington Hotel was a great stay, friendly and helpful staff, great location, great dining options, and walkable to mostly everywhere you would want to go to in Shinjuku. My only complaint from the hotel is that they turn off the air conditioner at night and you can not turn it on because it is controlled by the hotel. Sleeping at night with no air conditioner made it very uncomfortable resulting in some not so good sleepless nights. because the rooms are very small not having air circulating made it very muggy and uncomfortable. Wish they allowed the air conditioner to work because if it did then my stay would def have been a 4-5 star. But having this issue made it for a very unpleasant night.
