This tour runs as a small group tour of max 7 people (premium and new spacious vans)!

Visit Marques de Riscal and Ysios, the two most prestigious wineries that produce excellent wines but also boast world-renowned architecture. In this tour you will be able to discover the magnificence of Rioja through a perfect fusion of vineyards, excellent wines and renowned architects such as Franck Gehry or Santiago Calatrava.

Enjoy at least 6 wines. Have a wonderful lunch with local tapas. Visit Laguardia and take the best pictures form our secret spots.

In case the Ysios winery was closed for visits (sometimes it happens) we will upgrade you for a wine tasting in Carlos San Pedro winery with the best views over the Ysios winery and the Sierra Cantabria mountains. You will taste 4 wines paired with 3 local appetisers. And of course you will be able to take as many pictures as you want of the Ysios building!

Super organized, nice contrast between large producer and small producer, (Ysius was outstanding!) helpful commentary along the way but not too chatty. Sarah was very good guide. Good value for money - felt expensive when I booked it but worth it

Jon was a personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable tour guide. In addition to the wealth of information about rioja and local architecture, he provided much interesting context related to Basque and Spanish history. Additionally, the wineries and town we visited were spectacular. I highly recommend this tour, you won’t be disappointed!

Jon, our guide, couldn't have been better. He was so accommodating and because there were only two of us that day he picked us up at our hotel. His English is very good, and his driving felt very safe. Both wineries were beautiful and architecturally interesting. And the wine tours informative. Especially the video on the wine making at Marqués de Riscal. Because we had a little extra time Jon took us to one of his favorite places as a little extra. He helped us with dinner reservations as well. The tour was all it promised to 6and so much more.
