What you can expect

Set out into the vastness of the Alaskan night as the sun goes down to seek out the iridescent curtains of light that dance through the sky when the aurora borealis puts on its breathtaking show. At a remote lodge away from the light pollution of the city, take in this stunning natural phenomenon.

Your guide picks you up right at your hotel in Fairbanks and heads out of town toward a wilderness lodge, located in a wide open area with unobstructed views of the night sky. Lodge locations are carefully selected to ensure that you see this sparkling northern spectacle from the best possible vantage point.

Stay inside in the warm and cozy lodge, or step out into the cool night air and gaze upward as the Northern Lights prance and shimmer above the trees. Snap photos of the glimmering green, yellow, and pink sheets of luminosity, and listen to your guide describe the scientific forces behind this utterly magical phenomenon before heading back to your hotel.

Please note the Aurora is a natural occurrence. We can never guarantee that guests will see the northern lights.
