What you can expect

  • This highly popular half-day Bethlehem tour sets off through the Judean Hills to Bethlehem. On arrival, we'll stop at Manger Square and continue into the historic Church of the Nativity. This church was built around the Holy Grotto where Jesus was born on the first Christmas Eve (The silver star on the grotto floor marks the place of nativity). Enjoy the architectural featuresof the church, and the many artworks on the walls, including parts of the ancient, original mosaic floor.

  • From here the tour will head for the Church of St. Catherinewith its ancient grottoes and altars - where St Jerome translated the Hebrew Bible to Latin.

  • We'll leave Bethlehem through Shepherds Field and the Biblical Field of Ruth before returning to Jerusalem approximately at 13:00. End the tour approx. The tour ends at the David Citadel Hotel or at HaGiva'a HaTsarfatit light rail station.
