What you can expect

Experience the wild western edge of Ireland on a full-day outing to the coastal Cliffs of Moher. Take in sweeping views of the Atlantic, learn about the fascinating, rocky geology of the Burren, and stop at charming, historic villages like Doolin and Kinvara.

Meet your guide in the center of Dublin and set off for the drive to Cliffs of Moher, staggering limestone cliffs that drop 666 feet (203 m) to the crashing waves of the Atlantic below. Spend an hour and a half exploring the area on your own, strolling the clifftop paths, and stopping in at the visitors' center for an interactive presentation.

Leave this majestic shoreline behind and head to the nearby village of Doolin, a tiny town famous for its traditional Irish music. Relax over lunch at a cozy pub like Fitzpatrick's, then work off your meal with a short trek through the Burren, a limestone karst landscape known for its unique plants and wild orchids.

Explore the arty, bohemian city of Galway, renowned for its brightly painted pubs, live music and cafés. A city steeped in history, explore the meandering streets and listen to the many street performers from around the world who call this city their home. See remnants of the medieval town walls that lie between shops selling Aran sweaters, handcrafted Claddagh rings, and stacks of second-hand and new books.

Excellent trip but I would skip going to Galway, it was a useless stop and added hours to the trip.

Cliffs were spectacular, Galway nice, but bus ride was very, very long. Bus driver Barry, was a delight. Spent most of day on bus. 45 min. at Cliffs. Doolin was a lunch stop 30 min. and Galway was an hour. Knew it was a long day, but thought we’d have more time at each stop.
